Moved a lot, until I settled in Nijmegen, where I'm now living together with my friend Jos, in the happy circumstance of having two wonderful sons , two fantastic daughters-in-law, and two lovable grandchildren, all living in Nijmegen. After years of working in healthcare, and having tried my creativity in many ways: in music, doll making, reading and writing, I took up photomicrography and sandcollecting, of which the results are on this website. My first microscope I bought from my pocket money when I was 13, and a number of years ago I thought it was time to buy a better one. Some passions from childhood never die, although they may slumber for a long time. There are many interests I have been pursuing in my life, and making choices has always been hard. Life is infinitely fascinating, and much too short to do and know all the things I would like to get into, so I'm in kind of a hurry.... Music is important to me, and I play the accordion whenever I can. I also paint and collect sand. Books are my passion, and the walls of our house are covered with books on many of the subjects I'm interested in, especially everything metaphysical, the Fortean anomalistic Universe including cryptozoology, crop circles and UFO's, human potential, religions and everything that keeps me wondering what life is all about. At the moment my main occupation is writing. I'm a member of the very old (1888) and respectable Spiritualistic organisation HARMONIA, for which I edit a newsletter and a magazine, and write lots of other material.
